Android host is online, but connection not possible >>

The myCloud list of on-line Hosts shows the Android Host, but connection is not possible.

  1. Is the Android Host actually on-line ? If possible, verify the status on the Host side, check the Host is running and not showing any error messages.
  2. A myCloud connection can be initiated either via Google Cloud Messaging or by polling myCloud for connection. The first method requires very little bandwidth and uses less power and is therefore the default. Sometimes we have seen that Google Cloud Messaging fails due to local circumstances and if you experience that, we suggest to disable Google Play Service by unchecking it from the Android Host menu: Settings > Communication Profiles > myCloud – DefaultConnection:
    “Restart” the Host from the menu and and verify whether this helps.
